Hands of Mercy Everywhere, Inc. is one of the only organizations in Florida that specifically assists pregnant teens, teen mothers, and girls at risk for sex trafficking, who are 13-17 years old. Diane V. Schofield, a Village resident, founded HOME in 2004 with one maternity home. The campus now consists of three homes, and a Life Skills Center due to open in the Spring of 2024. H.O.M.E. offers a safe, nurturing, Christian environment to help successfully transition our teen girls into adulthood. Our residential program has given just under 2000 teen moms and their babies a successful beginning to a new life. The H.O.M.E. Campus is located in Belleview, and in the Spring of 2023 HOME opened an office in Summerfield to expand our resources into Lake and Sumter counties. www.HandsofMercyEverywhere.org

LifeSouth is the sole blood provider for UF Health The Villages Hospital and UF Health Leesburg Hospital. We are a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 125 hospitals in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.  With more than 30 donor centers, 50 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family member is in need.
